Matrimony<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The sacrament of Marriage signifies the union and love that exist between Christ and the Church. It is a faithful covenant in which a man and a woman unite in such a way that, by forming \u201cone flesh\u201d, they can transmit human life. As spouses and parents, men and women cooperate in a unique way in the Creator\u2019s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mutual consent to live together as husband and wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the Church teaches…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe matrimonial covenant by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting married at Saint Joseph<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re delighted to walk with you as you prepare for the sacrament of marriage. To begin the process, please contact the Parish Office at least six months before your hoped\u2011for wedding date. A date can be placed on the calendar once you\u2019ve had an initial conversation with one of our parish priests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weddings at St. Joseph may be scheduled on Friday evenings, or on Saturdays at 2 PM (or earlier, if needed) or 7 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
