Matrimony<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sacrament of Marriage signifies the union and love that exist between Christ and the Church. It is a faithful covenant in which a man and a woman unite in such a way that, by forming \u201cone flesh\u201d, they can transmit human life. As spouses and parents, men and women cooperate in a unique way in the Creator\u2019s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the Church teaches…<\/strong>

\u201cThe matrimonial covenant by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.\u201d

Getting married at Saint Joseph

Please contact the Parish Office at least 6 months in advance of your requested wedding date.

No wedding dates will be set without first consulting with a parish priest.

Weddings can be held on Friday evenings, and Saturdays at 2 PM (or earlier, if requested) or 7 PM.

The Diocese of Covington has certain requirements that must be met in order to be married in a Diocesan parish. Please visit the website for the Office of Family Life Ministry<\/a> for more information on these requirements.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
