Parish Pilgrimage – June 13, 2026

A special invite from Father Andrew Young
to visit The Gardens at St. Patrick’s.
As you may know, I have been involved in a project from my home parish and previous pastorate at St. Patrick in Maysville; a life-size Stations of the Cross garden called The Gardens at St. Patrick’s. During Holy Week, we hosted the solemn dedication ceremonies, and on May 12th, the gardens officially opened to the public! I am beginning to plan a parish pilgrimage to this new space for prayer, reflection, and peace in June. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us for a very special opportunity to experience this spectacular new space on Saturday, June 13, 2026. We will start with Mass here at St. Joseph at 9:00 am then will travel to the Gardens in Maysville after Mass. Once there (likely around 10:30- 11:00 am), we will pray the Stations of the Cross together, have some time for personal reflection, and have an explanation of the statues and what went into the formation of this beautiful space. Those who wish to remain for lunch will gather at a local restaurant and then we will return to St. Joseph around 3:00 pm. RSVPs are incredibly helpful so we can plan transportation and lunch.
