About Dorothy:
Born on December 11, 1922, on a Farm that has been in the family since 1918. 

Historically:
Dorothy thought that the Great Depression had the greatest impact on her life.  She feels they were able to survive because they lived on the Farm, so could produce a lot of their food.   (She had three brothers and two sisters.)  They didn’t have much, but what they had they shared.

She shared with us that the best thing that ever happened to her is when she met her husband, Gordon Joseph Levermann.  Together they had four children:  Mary Carol, Laurie, Jack, and Bob.    

Grandkids:
Seven grandsons and nine great grandchildren

Advice:
Never say you’re old. You can say you are older.

Funny Story:
She was sitting in the doctor’s office.  When asked how she felt, her response was: “When I’m sitting, I feel like I could run a mile. It’s only when I get up that I can’t.”
