Building Lessons for a Lifetime

St. Joseph School has a strong Catholic identity.  Formation in the Catholic faith permeates the entire curriculum and all of the activities at St. Joseph School.  Religion classes are taught daily.  Students attend Mass each week.  The music at our school liturgies is led by teachers and students.  Students play a variety of instruments.  Classes take turns planning and participating in the school liturgies.

Prayer is very important to us.  We begin and end each day with a prayer.  Classroom prayer takes on many forms throughout the school day.  Students participate in a variety of prayer services throughout the year.

Religious traditions at St. Joseph include the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion (in second grade); Scapular enrollment (in third grade), and the sacrament of Confirmation (in eighth grade).  Students are provided the opportunity for Reconciliation throughout the year.

Our mission is for our students to embrace the gospel message, to be and do their best,
to be lifelong learners, and to live their Catholic faith.
